Probably everyone does this, but when I am using a recipe that calls for oil as well as other wet ingredients like water, I will measure out the water first. Oil will float on water, so this means that more oil will make it into your recipe because the oil will settle on top of the still-wet surface in the measuring cup and pour much easier. Less waste of both the oil and water this way, and a more accurate measurement. Conversely, if something calls for oil and honey, I will measure the oil first. The "greased" measuring cup will help the oil to slide out much easier. Of course, if you measure water after the oil, the oil will lift, but you'll have to keep that in mind when reading the amount of water, so I find it works better the first way. Sometimes I have even moistened the inside of the measuring cup prior to measuring out the oil. :)
